 o
Pella Proline class action: court rejects settlement

The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals based in Chicago rejected a proposed settlement in the case. The Court suggested that the settlement smacks of attorney self-interest as opposed to benefiting the victimized class members (who are the folks who were harmed by their purchase of the Pella Proline series). The opinion suggests that the attorney had many conflict of interests that prevented him from advocating for the interests of the window owners.

"The Court suggested that the settlement smacks of attorney self-interest as opposed to benefiting the victimized class members"

No way! Lawyers enriching themselves at the expense of their victim clients?

Our nation's legal system has become a sick joke. At the end of this suit, lawyers will still walk away with millions while the victims get a coupon for some small amount off their next purchase with Pella or some similar token award.

Who would have thunk it Ultra Windows.

Lawyers benefiting from the law on both the sides of the suit...?
