Portico might help soften the out of balance look.

Hard to see the pic and it loses focus when I try and enlarge it. I'm a gardener and I'd say your home is in dire need of plants. It is a bit boxy but you can soften that up with beds with garden plants with rounded shapes and differing sizes. Create flowing beds, plant a flowering tree (watch the mature size) on the opposite side of the house from the door to soften that corner and give some balance. I would try and layer front beds so you have foundation plantings and then smaller plants in front. Do not add to the boxiness by adding something like square hedges! You could do boxwood (just don't trim in a box shape) and grow some in mounds and opt for tall, skinny ones for some.

Some nurseries by me will draw up plans for you with suggested plantings for a price that you will get discounted off a future purchase. If you don't have an eye for plants, it's a great way to re-create the landscaping.
