the use of corn starch and water for glass cleaning

When searching for a streak free glass cleaning solution, I came across the use of corn starch and water, which I tried and am very,very happy to report "WORKS WONDERS" on mirrors and windows, now I am wondering if anyone has used this solution on big screen T.V.'s that suggest using just warm water and mild soap??? If you have used something like this (corn starch & water) or this itself could you Please post a review ... Thank-you
