How in the world would you expect someone to know the height of this door? There's not even anything in that picture to compare it to. Why don't you get a tape measure out and measure it?

Most standard doors are approx 80" tall. Many manufacturers offer doors as tall as 96". Some door manufacturers will make custom sizes but expect to pay a premium for them.

door handle location mainly is how i would judge it if I had measured a couple...going by the distance above the handle...I would say it measured 4.25 inches but that would sound a little.....

I was thinking it may be an 8 footer instead of the normal 6 8...
thx

Could have been custom made for a dwarf. : )

I'd shoot for an 8' because of were the door bell is in relation to the door handle.

Unfortunately I do not believe anyone will give you a price on this type of door unit without having proper sizing and measurements. You will also need to know what type or material the door is made of, the type of frame you wish, your jamb depth at the very least.

If you go with the genuine article (a solid walnut or mahogany door with clavos and the like) it is a $15,000+ door in an XX with sidelites. Remember a solid wood door really shouldn't get any weather or direct sun light to be warrantied. IWP (Aurora series) makes a very nice door like this that is fiberglass and can be installed in "weather". You can always find less expensive "knock-offs" but they will look it. The age old axiom , "You get what you pay for".

guessing IWP is a Jeld Wen door...will take a look at them as $15k is better spent in the kitchen...you're right - this double door can be found for $2500 in a thermatru fiberglass
