North FL vinyl windows - PGT or Simonton ??

Looking at vinyl windows for new ICF construction in North FL, not on the coast so do not need impact windows. I've read many posts about the "best" vinyl windows out there but those brands are not available in my area. I have come up with PGT and Simonton as my best options.

The majority of my windows casements.

Can some of the pros here give me opinions on which is better between PGT & Simonton and which specific model?? My head is spinning trying to compare specs and I am hoping for an overwhelming push in one direction to make this choice easier. Cost wise I think these will price out pretty close so that is not a factor....just want the best.

I don't think many pros here are very familiar with PGT, except to say that they seem to be well regarded in the Florida area. Because they are built for the Florida environment specifically, I'd consider it first.

As to Simonton, it's an average performing window line, and if you go that route be sure to add the optional sash to any of the following models: 5500, 9800, Gold, Platinum.

Any opinions on the SImonton ProFInsih Contractor vinyl windows (no grids) with these specs: House is all casements.

Pretty solid window.

I would opt for the reinforcement as a standard for the added protection and wind load resistance.
