Single hung - wider than tall

Hi all,

I need some help deciding between SH or slider for a bath. The problem is that it's 46x36, which I've been told is a bit odd for a hung window. I want SH but was told that the 46x18 pane may be a bit awkward, both visually and the ease of operation.

It is unusual, but ease of operation won't be a problem and single hungs are a better choice than sliders. No real reason not to go with it.
