| Did a search on here and didn't really find a whole lot of info...
Does anyone have any info, good or bad, about this brand? A builder is going to submit a quote and said they us are using Quaker right now in their houses. The windows would be Energy Efficient, but just about everyone is selling an EE window these days... |

| There's quite a bit of information on the internet about this company and it's shockingly bad. You should probably be looking at a higher grade window. The term "energy efficient" is meaningless. What is the U-factor and the air infiltration rating of the windows? Do they have a low E glass coating and what kind of gas is between the panes? Make sure any window you buy meets the 2009 IECC requirements for your region and consider meeting the requirements for Energy Star status. |
