Windows Overload

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for an inexpensive (not crappy) vinyl window in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. I've tried my best to do research, but my head is spinning. I know not to go to orange or blue, but other than that I can't figure out who makes what or what company now produces what window.

Also, other than being able to pull the top down, is there any real benefit to double hung? My husband says we don't need them, but it is all I've ever known.

That list is pretty much a who's who of good products.
Single hungs are fine in concept, but they are usually made to be cheap for new construction. That, and they can't be cleaned from the interior.
