new dual pane windows

I have just installed 11 large 5' X 7' dual pane windows replacing older dual pane windows from 1980 which had leaked and were foggy.
I live in Palm springs and 6 of these windows face East, It seems to me that more heat comes thru these windows than the old ones, they are bronze tinted, as were the old ones.
One is a glass entry door and I have repeatedly cleaned it but when the sun shines on it, it still looks like it needs to be cleaned. I looks fine when the sun is not shining on it, is this normal?
It's only 106 degrees this week and i'm concerned about July when it will be 120 degrees, my air conditioner seems to be working harder than it used to. I wish I had known about this forum before I installed the windows. They still have stickers on the outside saying "tint side".

What you feel can be a very subjective measurement.

Besides the bronze tint, was there any Low-e option on the new window?

As far as the glass on the entry door, it is probably a failed seal (if double pane) or bad Low-e.

If the tint was applied to the inside surface of the interior pane, it could be trapping more heat there and making the window feel warmer as well.

in looking closely at the windows here is what they say etched in the corner:

Tells you nothing about the glass makeup, only that it is Tempered glass. You will not get this info off the glass but rather you contract and or specifications for the product.
