Does anyone here have experience with Jeld-wen's Premium Atlantic Vinyl windows? Pros? Cons? Suitability for use in NW Florida coastal areas?

I am looking for responses to whether vinyl windows are suitable for FL. Some people are saying to use only aluminum.

We installed 21 window units of vinyl Jeld-Wen windows in 2004. They look as beautiful and crisp as the day they were installed. All of the moveable windows are double hung for easy cleaning. The dealer from whom we purchased the windows had their own installers who did an excellent job. They happened to be Mennonites. Further, we happen to be in the Dallas area where summer temps are frequently in the triple digits. IMO, think the vinyl will handle possible salty conditions much better than aluminum.
