 o
trim or bullnose?

Hi. I am new here, so forgive me if this question has already been addressed. I have searched, but have not found an answer. We have a 1947 house and are replacing some windows. The original windows in our house are bullnosed - though most have shutters, so you can't really tell. I prefer the look of trim or casing around the windows. Is it objectionable to use trim on our new windows, instead of the bullnose as on the originals? The new windows would be all of the ones facing the back of the house (replacing aluminum sliders that a previous owner installed -- yuck! ) THe front windows all have interior shutters. We also have crown molding in most rooms, if that makes a difference. Thanks!!
