Different windows on sunroom?

My husband and I are planning an addition to our house. The rest of the house does NOT have grids in the windows. I wish they did. And unfortunately replacing them would be for appearance only. :( However with the addition, there will be a sunroom, visible from the front of the house. I think it would be ok to put in windows with grids, he thinks it would look stupid. Opinions?

I would tend to agree with your husband.

I agree as well.

If it were anything, it would be the other way around but that is it.

RE: Different windows on sunroom?

So keep the continuity?

The windows will still be different than the rest of the house because they'll be larger. The rest of the house has a "normal" window that pushes up and down.

So no grids. :(

RE: Different windows on sunroom?

Sorry for the bad news.

Your call at the end of the day. Some folks paint their homes funky colors and love it too so do what you will be happy with but understand that there may be valuation implications.
