I am planning on looking for used windows for my project: turning a shed into a patio/sun room. Does anyone have any tips on how I should go about this? I am planning on looking at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, where they sell used building materials. Other than a lead test, how should I evaluate the windows? Thanks so much for any advice.

Completeness. They should not be selling rotted stuff so you should be fine there.

Patio doors both operable and stationary usually give you the most bang for the buck (Maximum glass area at the least expense) for a sun room.

Thanks--I'm considering french doors in the center flanked by windows.
