| We are considering motorized shading for our apartment and have already gotten several quotes for what we want. We've heard that Lutron is a better product but about 30-40% more expensive from at least one installer, and then heard that Somfy is a good product, and that you don't gain anything from the fact that Lutron builds the systems as complete motorized systems (rather than attaching a motor to something that wasn't necessarily intended to be motorized).
Anyone here have experience with either brand? Is Lutron quality worth the extra expense? Has anyone every mixed the two different systems in your home? |
