How to install curtain rod on this french window?

window is 300 length, 180 width, rod doubled nearly 200 width,
curtain is 300 length but doesn't matter i will change it anyway.
needed info:
distance between top of the window and the rod
distance between brackets and the end of the rod
and any more info you see important .. i'm new on this kind of thing, trying to hang it for the last three days and made lots of holes :D

Don't mount to the window. Mount the bracket in the casing.

First of all...I hope you are not using the chair on top of the table as a replacement to a ladder.

As WOW mentioned you have the option of mounting the brackets on the wood casing (wood trim around the door) or directly on the wall adjacent to the molding.

At which height you choose is entirely up to you.
