Any windows that don't 'howl' when open and it's breezy?

Are there any types of windows that don't "howl" when open and it's breezy? I live on a nice, breezy hill, and I enjoy having my windows open. But I get tired of hearing that "howl" after a while. Are there any windows that don't do this? These are just single hung aluminum windows. Or does it just have to do with the direction of the wind?

I think your issue maybe more related to the screens than the window itself. Do your screens have metal wire by chance as I could see this being the culprit.

Yes, I do. It's a very old house. Thank you so much!
