Old windows need help!

I am thinking of making an offer on this house, but the two windows need replacing, and probably all of the windows. I feel like they are very plain and need some trim to help the house not look awkward. Any suggestions!!??

The other side. I think shutters will look weird because of the window by the porch, so I don't know what. The window itself needs replacing, but I also want some trim or something?

That size ratio, they would lend themselves to be Double Hungs.

Maybe some 4" trim and a new construction window in white would brighten up the outside.

I think the roof line/pitch looks weird, too. This house is so perfect on the inside, but I just can't figure out if it could be cute! Looking for a property that can be rented out later.

Don't see any reason that wouldn't make a great rental if bulletproofed for it and brought up to a more modern look.
