Where is the home located?

Standard Low-e will block a majority of the UV rays but its impact on visible light is supposed to be small so you get maximum daylightiing.

That being said, you are probably going to be blinded by the sun and will require some shading.

I edited my previous post, I meant to say solar screens, not solar shades. The house is in South Carolina. I have low E glass. U factor .35, solar heat gain .25, visible transmittance .47. I'm wondering if I install solar screens alone, will that be enough to sit out in my sun room and not be blinded by afternoon sun. Here is a photo of the back of the house. Thanks again.

I would plan on getting in the home and figure out what you need first. You do have an overhang but it is not that huge.
