Were going to go with a cherry interior but I expanded my window search a bit and came across Starmark Windows by Okna, actually the same dealer. Starmark is different than standard vinyl; basically a cellular composite. After worrying about cherry, we now want a white interior and think it will be a nice accent with cherry colored trim. The window did look impressive and has some very good performance numbers ( very energy efficient ) We are seriously considering these windows because its a very nice looking window. Our dealer brought us to a customer near by to take a look at a recently completed install and we were sold. Here are the specs: White interior, white exterior, double pane, lowE argon, and grids between the glass. 17 double hung windows( replacement with capping) Cost is 12,500 SDL grids would add about 2100 for 6 over 6 . Does this price sound within range? |

| The price you were quoted for StarMark is well within range as long as its just a basic replacement. Starmark is a very solid window choice and without a doubt the best of breed in composites and a better performer than Andersen renewal. |

| +1. One might question whether it is worth the premium to upgrade over the 800 series, but that really depends on how much extra that you would pay. I tend to prefer the 800 with additional glass area (thinner frame/sash profile) and a the similar performance... Either way, you won't go wrong. Both are fantastic products. |

| +1 to both above comments. It is different but I am not sure it would be considered and upgrade. Just depends on what you place a value on. Your SDL pricing is crazy low. Was that just for the interior surface? |
