We recently bought a late 30s house in LA with some poor condition lead paint trim on the windows of the detached garage. We have young children and are worried about them touching the windows or playing nearby. The windows are also either broken or painted shut. What is the most economical way to replace these, frame and all? What is a reasonable ballpark figure? The house has mostly vinyl windows with a couple original windows in one bathroom, and the garage isn't in great shape so aesthetics are not a huge factor.
