Looking for some feedback on Seaway's Encore vinyl replacement windows. Can't find much on the web about them, wondering if anybody has any experience with them?

Have never used it, but here are some observations:

- Performance ratings appear about average, at .20 u-value with TP and krypton, and .1X cfm air infiltration. For reference, top performers are as low as .01cfm AI, and can hit the same .20 with argon, and .16 or so with krypton. To clarify, .20 u value is an excellent rating, just not impressive for that glass package. It would be like a V-12 engine that "only" produces 300 hp while others are at 500.

- What I have heard from other pros as a general consensus is that it is a fine, mid-grade product.

-Looks to have interior glazing. Not a big deal, but I prefer exterior.

-Welded sloped sill is good, as is the triple weatherstripping.

Thanks for the input, the place is local installer in pennsylvania and I have had never heard of the brand before. The place also installs interstate which I have not heard of either and doesn't seem to much on the web about them.

Interstate is not a quality brand at all from what I know of them.

+1 to HomeSealed feedback.

Performance is pretty good but not great given the glass and gas fill.

You would like to see a Triple Pane Krypton unit in the mid - high teens in most cases and Krypton is usually a mint when it comes to pricing.

How is the installer, company, and price?
