unwanted window in brick wall

What should I do? We want to hang wall cabinets in the kitchen... on the wall with a long (8 foot wide) window. Any ideas how to cover it up that's not too expensive? I want it to look ok from the outside... can I just put a window film with a stained glass design in the window and then just hang the cabinets to block it off?

The wall requires structuring and support to hang the cabinet.

its a long skinny window - it starts about 12" below ceiling and is about 30" height. couldn't we screw the cabinets in above and below the window? what would you recommend we do? we're on a tight budget... and i heard that trying to match the brick to fill the window can be expensive.

You could stud it, insulate, sheath exterior, fill in the width with shutters or pseudo shutters with azek, rock and spackle the inside. install new window.
