| I currently have a 6 panel solid entry door with two side panels. I am looking to replace just the door. I would appreciate any suggestions.
The door would face the south (no shade) and it gets extremely hot in the summer. Doesn't get wet from rain all that much but I have two sons who can and have dinged things up (steel doors worry me on this). I'm flexible on the cost issue but am looking for something unique beyond the doors I see on every suburban house. Any suggestions? |

| I have sold wood, steel and fiberglass doors for years. Wood doors with sidelites are generally a one piece unit. Steel and fiberglass doors usually are undersized and take a completley different door frame thus there is generally no success in using a steel or fiberglass door in a frame originally made for a wood door. |

| Check out Provia doors They offer the highest quality steel and fiberglass doors and offer a lifetime warranty. The steel doors can be purchased with 20 gauge galvanized steel as opposed to the standard 24 or 26 gauge. That's almost 50% thicker steel. They are also available in a new construction frame, which I would strongly recommend getting. |
