Take a picture from a bit further back but that appears to be the master frame extrusion and will likely have that other channel to accommodate and operable window (i.e. slider).

You cannot install a storm into that track but you can install a storm panel inside that deep jamb extension and get better sound control.

Best bet is an interior storm in this case. You have deep jambs and it should work fine.
