The Okna/Himark 500 is very thin, as is Sunrise. If you stay in the Gorell family, the 5100 is a bit slimmer than the 5300.

Not all vinyl windows are created equal.

Sunrise, Okna/HiMark, and the Soft-Lite Bainbridge are all pretty minimalistic frames.

The Gorell 5100 is now a relabeled Bainbridge just for reference.

Does the 5100 still come with the shark fin tilt latches?

I have only seen the 5400 in person. I didnt realize the 5300 and 5100 were so much slimmer. Are the costs similar for all 3 lines. On the pictures of the 5100 on the website, they have a dark tab spaces on both upper sides for locks??? Not sure if it is poor photography or truly the look of the window. I really like the look of the himark window but I dont have have a local okna dealer. I always wondered if I could use an out of state dealer for okna and have them shipped in. My only worries would be if they needed servicing etc in the future. Thanks

A well engineered window would theoretically not require servicing in the future and all the components are modular so you could easily ship a sash if you had a seal failure.

You are not that far from where there expansion plans are right now either.

That might be the first time that I've ever seen the 5300 characterized as "slim", lol... The 5100 is far slimmer than the 53 or 54...
HiMark is an excellent window if you can work something out like that.

Well you already have 2 solid brands to look at. Soft lite and sunrise. Okna make a nice narrow frame but i dont think its available in your area.
