| I bought 15 windows with a GUARANTEE that if the windows
broke, they would replace them at NO COST. Now they want to charge me $49 to have someone come out to measure and then to replace the window.
FREE is free--not $49.

| Perhaps your are confusing a Warranty with a Guarantee. |

| Not surprising. I've heard from a few people who purchased Alside Windows and the installer they bought them from doesn't carry Alside anymore or has gone out of business. Alside is apparently charging $50 per sash for "labor" to install the new sashes when the glass seal fails. One homeowner I spoke to insisted they just ship them to him and he would install them himself but, Alside refused to do that. I feel sorry for you Tom and I hope you get it worked out. Another example of why the pro's tell homeowners the reputation of the company is so important and the reason why we recommend certain brands. |
