We had some quote from Fella windows 2 years back for 2 arched windows and 2 skinny long windows all wood casement window, wood is pine. The price seems OK, but installation is ridiculous. Basically they said in order to install window on stucco siding they need to cut 2" bigger then window and trim after installation. We were about to sign to get new windows, sine we had difficulty to find any one to install on our stucco siding. Then we were told that Pella did not responsible for any damages on our siding during the installation. and we have to hire someone else to fix the damage and trim around window in exterior walls. So we called off from that one. Now we are planning master bedroom and bathroom redo, the window has to be replaced. we still have single pan window. it gets cold in the winter. We want to know if anyone knows any reputable company can replace windows on the stucco siding (Portland stucco), prefer wood casement windows. We had put in Loewen windows in hall bath ourselves, I admit we made mistake by cut the rough opening a bit bigger, so had to put some trim around. it is in the court yard, so it not obvious. But we want to get other windows right. any suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance.
