Blinds for casement window?

I have 2 casement window in the bedroom. each about 3' wide, 4' tall. the wall is bright south facing wall. because they are casement, there is the annoying handle protruding. what kind of options do i have? i really like the top down bottom up design, especially the one where you can have a translucent and opaque layer. if that's not possible, what else should i consider?

You can use Top/Bottom shades. They don't mount at the bottom so they will sit on the handle. I assume you have a stationary handle, if so you can inquire about replacing it with a folding handle that tucks away when your done cranking the window. Easy to replace them.

The other shades I might suggest are 1" wood mini blinds. they add a nice crisp look to casement windows.
