Went to local Marvin dealer to research Integrity line. Salesperson explained to me the windows come with a "fin" surrounding the window. In a replacement window situation the surrounding siding is cut away to accommodate fin. To fill in where siding was cut away a molding, like a frame is applied. It completely changes the look on the exterior, adds to the expense and looks "different" not as clean. the other option is to eliminate the "fin" and install window and replace siding as it was, looks much nicer!! Supposedly install without the fin is not as desirable. what do you think?
