Has anyone had candid photos taken at their wedding? Was it a good experience? How did the pictures come out? Did the photographer use a flash? Has anyone in NJ tried or is thinking about trying these guys at itmphotos.com

Thanks.., Bluemoon

RE: Informal Photos

Candid photos are taken at most weddings. If you think about the cake cutting, first dances, toasts - those are usually taken as candids while the activity is in process. Most wedding photographers take a combination of "formals," which are the posed pictures of the bride and groom, the wedding party, and the families, and candids.

If your photographer says that he/she shoots only candids, then be prepared for pictures with people or other distracting objects in the background and no full length photos of the bride in her gown and possibly no photos of the entire wedding party or all members of each family.
