Do you send out two invitations...

| I am thinking about having a private ceremony with family and a reception with friends and family.... Do I send out two invitations... one for the reciption and one for the ceremony?????? |

| Not quite. You send out one for the wedding and reception. You send out another for the reception only. |

| Yes, you need to print two invitations, one inviting a limited number of guests to the ceremony and reception and another one for guests invited only to the reception. However, you don't send two invitations to the first group, only one invitation with information about both events. Make sense? |

You have an invitation to the wedding"The honour of your presence....etc" printed. You send that to everyone. You also have printed a "reception card"...or invitation or whatever you want to call it. You include that in the envelope with the wedding invitation to those you want to attend the reception. Linda C |

| lindac, she does not want to invite everybody to the wedding - just small group of family. There is no reason that one cannot have a small close wedding ceremony if she chooses. |
