Do You Know A Free Wedding Website?

Posted by cath80 (My Page) on

Hey there, first of all, hi to you :)

we are getting married in a couple of months - which I am VERY excited about :-). So for this reason I want to get a website - and I want one for free as I don't have a lot of money to spend. The money has all been planned for other (yeah more important) things.

So right now I'm planning to get one at www.homepagenow.com as it seems to be easy to maintain for me as a girl - as my husband-to-be doesn't want to do it...oh yeah men - and to have all the features.

I wanted to ask though if you know any other solutions that could be comparable? I really don't want to have to create more than one website because one not working.

Love

Catherine :-)

You might be wise to pay a little for a website you know you can depend on. My son used

http://theweddingtracker.com/

Sorry I don't know a free one.

Hey,

If you go onto the theknot.com you can set up a page for you and your fiance. It's free.

Weddingchannel.com also allows you to set up a free web site and both it and the one on theKnot.com aren't bad. Plus, they are easy to create and maintain.

Everyone here uses theknot.com

I can highly recommend a free website provider that also does very cheap add on extras (and we've found the add on extras are very good value for money). The provider is www.idealwedding.co.uk you get a free announcemount page with a photo and you can then upgrade it. We went for a two year package with every page you could possibly think of for just £49, check it out if you want to get an idea, it's www.kitandjoe.co.uk

I know it is a lot later than when this question was posted but for future reference weddingannouncer.com has free websites. And theirs are pretty nice, that is where I have mine. I also have one at theknot.com and weddingchannel.com but I like weddingannouncer.com much better.

I really liked the layout of the sites on weddingchannel.com

Have to admit the paid ones give more options, better page options etc...

My fiance and I just created our wedding website on momentville.com

We looked at a bunch of different ones, and even signed up for some trials, but this was our favorite. Its free (which is great) and actually really easy to use. We both edit it, and even though we have 11 months until the wedding, we have a wedding blog, a photo album from the night he proposed, and a slideshow.

We're having a destination wedding, and this will come in so handy for communicating the details to friends and family back home...
