Ordering wedding flowers on line

Posted by LostLkFarm (My Page) on Tue, Aug 3, 04 at 9:59
My daughter is getting married and wants a rather simple but nice wedding. She saw a place on line that had wedding flower "packages" with overnight delivery and I was wondering if anyone has done this and were the flowers nice?
Thanks for your help

| Has she ever thought of using silk flowers? I just got married in June and we were on a tight budget so we used silk flowers. I ordered my main flowers--daisies--online at save-on-crafts.com and got the rest of them at Garden Ridge. All of the flowers we used looked VERY real and we saved ALOT of $$ by using silk. I don't think I would real flowers if I had to do it all over again. I have my bouquet as a center piece on my fireplace mantle. Good luck!! Springbride04 |

| I had my flowers (bought wholesale) shipped in two days before the wedding from California. Not only were they amazingly cheap (about $350 for 300 gorgeous long stemmed roses), but since i got them from the grower (2g Roses), the roses that were in water (ie not bouquets) actually lasted more than a week before they started to go limp. The only downside of this is that you and your family and friends will then have to make the bouquets, yourself... we had an open house the day before the wedding (everyone was from out of town), and about 15 of the women (give or take 2 men) got a lesson in flower arranging and had fun making the arrangements as part of the open house. (It might not work for everyone, but it worked for me...) |
