My stepson gave me a break tonight so I get to sleep in my bed for the first time in 3 weeks,I am so tired,hopefully I will be able to sleep,I am so excited to be home I feel like its all new,but it sure need a good dusting,lol.Oh well I am just glad to be in my dusty home.Thank you all for your prayers,we still have a way to go,Mom has a OT twice a week a PT 4 times a week,and a nurse twice.She has had a rough go of it,she had blood clots in her legs,heart,and lungs.The Dr's went in and put a screen like thing in to break up the clots she was throwing,so hopefully once she gets her strength back,things will get close to normal. I sure hope everyone in Tx is okay the storm looked bad. Love you all. Bonnie

so you can't come to the raleigh spring swap? that's really too bad. i can't imagine not being able to check gw- i'd have the green shakes for sure! glad the water plants are still hanging tough for you. i still have 3 of the 4 koi you brought me. the pure yellow one had a spine defect and dissappeared after about 6 months. the others are doing well & getting bigger. my pond pump died late last summer and i still haven't replaced it, so the ponds are pretty yucky looking right now (as if they look great most winters anyhow), but am ready to get to cleaning & getting it running again. didn't seem to bother the fish, though- i don't think i lost any over the winter. hope your situation changes for the better soon. take care & keep in touch! tammy

Thanks Eloise. The surgery is actually firmly scheduled, by the doctor's office, but they have to send paperwork to Workers Comp and they evidently, as of last Thursday, haven't done it. I'm going to call tomorrow, and if it isn't there, I'm going to call the Dr.'s office and tell them that I expect it Fed Ex'd overnight air, and if it isn't there by Wednesday, I will change doctors. It's unacceptable the way that doctor's staff is. I changed my phone number MONTHS ago, called them and gave them the new one, then checked to make sure it was changed when I went for my next visit, and then they said they didn't have my number, and so we missed a vital communication. I can't understand how they could be so slack, and his patients haven't dumped him yet. I'm sure some have. He's a great doctor, but his staff leaves much to be desired. Kay, unfortunately, the plants I grow, at least most of them, won't grow in the panhandle. Mine are mostly tropicals and subtropicals, and you're going to be in a colder place. Yes, it gets VERY cold in the panhandle. No snow or anything, but temps below freezing, for sure. Sorry about that :(. But thanks for the offer!

I’m not sure what qualifies as “chill” either. I remember Kim(Roseseek) explaining very well a while back. Unfortunately, I don’t remember what thread it was on. If you have enough “chill” rbehs, maybe I do too. ( I feel like we’re talking about having “Karma” and “Chill” in such a funny way. Sounds funny, anyway:) I might get frost a few mornings in the winter, rarely though. It occasionally dips down to freezing for a few hours before dawn, maybe 5-10 times per winter. It’s only for an hour or two, though. I think my Sunset Zone is 23. Lisa
