Rita, Boy do I ever wish that the daylilies came in those shades! You never know what the future will bring though! ETOSHA is a favorite of mine (although I say that about half of my blooms I think!) It is not only pretty, but the bloom is 6+ inches. It is usually darker in color, but it is one of those "washed out" ones that I grow...warmer weather growers have a lot more color but I like my version better!

Karen, yep, DGD knows Nana to well already. I'm always up to makin' a mess if it means having fun. Jane, your so right. Some of the best times aren't planned. We talked about how lucky the girls are that the guys jumped in to carve for them. If there would of been more time I can only imagine what they would of come up with. I was pretty impressed when DS cut a little bit off to be able to get them to sit up right and use the stems as noses. He even made me put candles in them so he could see how they would look lit up. Luvs, the popcorn balls were enjoyed by all we shared with and we shared with several. I really like my recipe and if anyone needs an easy one would be more than happy to share. Don't need a candy thermometer to make these. NanaK, sometimes I do better when events aren't planned. I try to stay away from Chinese made in the kitchen- one of the reasons I chose Cambria (I liked American made.) Unfortunately, it's not easy. When I was looking at marble, I must have looked through about a hundred slabs, the country of origin was always listed. There's such a huge difference in the way marble from China and marble from Italy looks, just unreal. The price too, huge difference. I don't remember seeing India though, probably did but nothing about it stood out I guess.
