Maryl: the first time I grew them we lived in the city and I grew them in containers as annuals. I gave some seeds to my neighbour and she planted them in a narrow bed between her paved driveway and the house, they reseeded every year. I'm assuming it was because of the warmth generated from the driveway and the house. I've had them here (we moved to a farm) and still grow them, this time in the flowerbeds. I've never had them reseed. I winter sow them each year and they seem to like that. Blue annuals look so nice with the daylilies. Next year I want to grow more. BTW, I forgot to mention Highland Lord is really a bit darker and more velvety looking than in the picture. Marg

Wow. Love the second pic. Does it grow well? Here's a Lakeside that is new to my garden. I just saw this one tonight and took a pic with my cell phone. We just finished with 3 days of rain and this one opened for the first time. It's Lakeside Knickknack. This little streaker is supposed to flower multiple times during the season. Steve

Thanks again everyone! Verdun stays small...spends too much energy producing zillions of blooms, I guess. Just my 3rd year with Rainbow, but already a favorite for those stripey blooms...such a sweet looking rose!!! Desertgarden, I almost didn't post the NN pictures since they really don't do it justice. The bush is well shaped and blooms almost constantly here...it does blackspot, but that doesn't slow it down. Hopefully, it will be as vigorous in your climate. Rainbow again...

Good call, Mikgag - I have one and had to go look at it to see if it has any all-gold leaves (Dee's Golden Jewel). Mbug, your Antioch is resplendent amongst the other hostas in the photo. Devon Green is perfect, and Paradise Glory has beautiful colours I gravitate towards. Wonderful pictures as usual. Thank you! :-)
