I personally never advise the use of any type of registry cleaner period unless done by a registry specialist.

Unbeknownst to its users, Webshots employed its Webshots Desktop Application (a free program that users can download from their site to manage their online pictures) to install the Kiwee Toolbar as part of a software update for this program. Other than the Wikipedia article (whose references don't appear to have anything to do with the surreptitious installation of Kiwee) and complaints in support forums about problems getting it off a computer, I don't see anything about it being forced on users. Was it one of the many tools bars included with software that installed by default but unchecking a box provided an opt-out? I just don't know. Although several of the search hits I saw included the word "unbeknownst" which leaves me wondering if they were written by the same person or several people parroting the others. In any case, it seems more a case of poorly written code and even poorer judgment on the part of American Greetings than malware. American Greetings does offer instructions on how to remove Kiwee although it sounds like you need to install the latest, greatest version first. I'm not sure I'd be jumping at at offer. Gosh Durn Mike ~ Don't be so rude & judgemental! I didn't get "glitter text" intentionally. Do you have any idea of the number of computers I've looked at with upwards of a half dozen different tools bars installed? Every user claimed they never installed them. Yes they did, when the went click, click, click without bothering to read what was on the screen. Now maybe I got up on my soapbox a little too soon and American Greetings did install poorly written software on their customers' computers without their customers knowledge or consent. If that is the case, I would be writing a nice letter to Mr. Weiss letting him know why he won't be getting any more of my money. Even if it meant giving up a really pretty screen saver.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. My daughter was married 2 years ago. She has the same glasses that you are considering. She also has square shaped dinner plates. They are Noritake's Colorwave series. She chose their graphite color but their are lots of fun colors, as well as white and cream. You can buy pieces individually or place settings. Lots of options for mixing and matching too. My daughter was also registered at a department store and it was there that she received tremendous help from the wedding registry sales associate. The clerk put together various options for dishes, glassware, flatware and placemats. It was helpful to see the items laid out together on a table. See if someone at BB&B can help you this way or go to a major department store. You can be registered at more that one place. My daughter found that the department stores ran some very good sales on her registry items which resulted in better prices than BB&B even using one of their coupons (which not all guests will know about). There is always a billion little things you need. gift cards for the liquor commission - for when you can't deal with the billionth problem that goes wrong massage gift certificates - for when painting makes your shoulders and neck ache, but your STILL not done painting... movie tickets - for when your exhausted AND broke, and just want a night out. For doing work yourselves: Painters tape. Don't ask how much of the stuff you'll go through! Brad nails for the nailgun when installing trim. Again, its amazing how many thousand you go through! rags. For staining, cleaning paint of surfaces it shouldn't have gone, dirty hands... tape measures...because even if you have 6, you'll only ever find 1 at a time a GOOD stud finder spackle for when you accidentally knock something over dent your newly painted walls, and new knives for when your SO washes them and leaves them in the sink to rust... respirator with replacement cartridges - so that you aren't dying with a major headache and sore throat after staining all of your doors/trim... long screws to match your door hardware. (We found these hard to find in certain colors). It sucks when your builder drops them, and replaces the missing ORB one with a shiny brass one... undercutting saw (if installing flooring), or one of those multi-tools with the undercutting blade. plastic-type prybars - for when you install something wrong and need to 'delicately' redo it... Other 'things' you may not have thought of including in your home, or want to upgrade: whole home surge protector fancier doorbell exterior lighting outdoor bench/seating BBQ! yardwork tools - rakes, shovels, lawnmower accessories, garbage cans, recycling bins tool chest and/or pegboard and hook set for the massive amount of tools you've bought! decorative air/floor registers
