Does anyone have a good idea as to what scripture to use in the ceremony?? Maybe towards the begining of the ceremony....I have been scratching my brain for the best scripture to use but I think with all of the other stress I have been under--only 12 days left!!!--I can't think of a good one. Ideas needed!!! Thanks!!!!

RE: What scripture to use in the ceremony

Many couples use passages from I Corinthians 13, known as the love chapter. Others use verses from Genesis 2:20-24, Ephesians 5:22-28, Proverbs 18:22, Ruth 1:16-17, Proverbs 31:10-12 and 28-30. Hopefully some of these will help.

We let our priest choose and he went with Corinthians. It was very fitting and he talked about love and the meaning of marriage afterwards.

DD used Colossians 3:12-17 in the service...

Her program cover had Song of Solomon 8:6-7
