LOOKING for: How do you shuck green soybeans?

Posted by kwsparrow (My Page) on

I have a 5-gal. bucket full of green soybeans in the pods, now what do I do with them? Several years ago had some and remember they were really difficult to get out of the pods. Don't have alot of freezer space so can't freeze all of them in the pods (and does freezing first make them easier to remove from the pods?). Have searched online and couldn't find any info. Would there be a better or another forum for me to post this request? Thanks in advance for taking your time to help me.

you boil them in pods for a few minutes, then shuck.
