| Grew field soy beans this year to improve field nitrogen. Had to taste them--not bad. Tried to find ways to use them "as is", after shelling of course, but not having any luck. Especially interested in snack uses. Anyone toast like sunflower seeds? How about coating/roasting like spicy pecans? Will experiment but would appreciate input and info re links NOT limited to selling soy products or recipes using soy milk, oil, tofu, paste, etc., etc. Just want to use those "little babies" whole either cooked or raw. |

| Call 1 800 852 BEAN for a free cookbook...! Here is a very neat little cookbook using soy products. And it gives a recipe for roasting soybeans !! Very easy....that I am trying tomorrow. I think you can also soak them overnite, and then slow cooker them for about 2-3 hours...I am also looking for recipes! Hope this helps. |
