LOOKING for: string beans - freshly picked

I cant eat one more string bean. I grow oodles of em! I steam them in chicken broth and crushed garlic - it's wonderful. Today I ate last night's leftovers marinated in salad dressing. That's it - I am out of ideas. Anyone? PS: please dont give me any recipes with the follwing hated ingred's: green peppers, red peppers, olives, mushrooms, ICK! Thank you.

None of your hated ingredients. The full cooking directions are at the link below. We love it so much , we use frozen string beans!

Green Bean Tempeh Curry Stir Fry

1 lb. green beans, washed, trimmed and cut in half
package of three grain tempeh, sliced in half lengthwise, and then into thin strips across the width
1 can stewed tomatoes
1/3 c chopped walnuts
2 med. onions, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1/4 teasp. cayenne
1/2 teasp. cinnamon
1 teasp. coriander
1 1/2 teasp. cumin
pinch ground cloves
1/4 teasp. fennel seeds
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
3/4 c. water
your favorite cooking oil
long grain brown rice

My favorite way to cook fresh beans is to roast 'em in the oven - simple,simple,simple!

Preheat oven to 425F.Place oven rack in top 3rd of oven.Lightly oil an enamelled or glass pan & spread 1# cleaned whole beans in a shallow layer.Roast 15 minutes.

These are so good plain,they don't need anything on 'em - good in salads as well.
