LOOKING for: bean and apple bake

Hi there. I've just found these forums and really enjoy them. I had a recipe for a butterbean and apple bake...the predominant flavors were cinnamon, brown sugar and apple cider vinegar. Tried to duplicate the other night...not great results. Does anyone have such a recipe?

Similiar recipe

Sounds a bit like Tangy Baked Kidney Beans.

1 tsp or so of bullion or water
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 small apple unpeeled and shredded
1/4 cup tomato paste
1/2 tsp dry mustard
2 Tlbs vinegar
1/4 tsp oregano
2 tsp honey
12 oz white or red kidney beans

Saute onion and apple in bullion/water until tender.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well
Cover and bake at 350 for 40 minutes

Sound simple, but it’s delicious. Sometimes I add a full vegtable bullion cube to the initial saute. I'm also free as to the amounts, usually doubling the recipe and adding onions, apples and beans as the mood hits me.
