Hawaii is out.. Wife sez 14hrs burns 2 days and two much

Island hopping... NOw this is her choice

anybody been there.

My son and daughter inlaw went there shortly after sept 11 for their honeymoon. They really liked the island, it has an interesting history, I believe it was a danish settlement.

It's OK. My best bet would be Aruba. Always Sunny and safe.

Yes, that was interesting but..... Now it is 3 hours later and I went from Julian calendar back to old Nordic and old English month names and from there to Irish history, the Nordic gods, the Niebelungen Saga, Irish and via Richard Wagners operas back to more recent times. The laundry still sits where I left it before I read your post. Instead of housecleaning I ended up with more stuff in a drawer in my brain.

Trin- if you want something that looks more like a surgical glove you can buy Casabella latex gloves - and they're bright pink too. I buy them at Bed, Bath and Beyond but I've also found them in drugstores and the Container Store. You can also order them online. They're not expensive, I think about $4.00 a pair. we did it! we arrived at a price we are very happy with and close in 30 days. basically, the seller said this is our lowest price, and were ready to sit it out all winter and not go below that number. we said ok, but you pay closing costs. they moved down another $5000 and said however we get there, that is the number. we happily accepted and will hopefully be celebrating christmas with our 14 month old in our first home! we really loved this home and have not seen anything like it for even close to the price we got it for. luckily we did not have to risk threatening to walk away, because we really did not want to, and still got the seller to move significantly from the list price. all in all, not too painful, even for someone as impatient as me... thanks for all the insights and strategies and positive wishes.....

've never gotten into Game, though my ski-fi daughter has never missed an ep. I used to watch Homeland but it petered out for me. Series tht I like include Broadchurch (the best), The Night Manager, and currently Hinterland. My bro gave me the first two seasons of Outlander, which is nixt on my binge list. And of course Poldark. Be still my beating heart.

The crime rate is really bad. The cruise ships have all but stopped going there because of it. Headlines in the papers here about sewage running in the streets in Christiansted (which is a beautiful town.)

You've been to St. Thomas, so why not try St. John?

You might try the other St. Croix Island, between Maine and New Brunswick. It's celebrating the 400th anniversary as the first French settlement in North America where not everyone was massacred, etc.

Yes - have been there and chose to live there!!! Do NOT listen to GingerStThomas. St. Croix actually has LESS crime than St.Thomas, St. Thomas pays the cruise lines money to stop there!! St. Thomas is known as "Little New York City" in our neck of the woods and fine for maybe a day or at the most two. St. Croix is a laid back island that LOVES visitors. We have a wonderful history, have preserved our historical sites, have the best diving and beaches in the Caribbean, and the nicest people.
Our saying is "we live here and we love it"
