The effects of 3 rates of fertilizer and cultivars on population densities of chilli thrips and on host plant damage were evaluated. Fertilization rate, plant organ, and cultivar were important in determining S. dorsalis population density. Differences in total numbers of S. dorsalis, damage rating, and in numbers of flowers and buds produced were observed among different fertilizer rates. The higher rates recommended for accelerated floral growth resulted in more S. dorsalis damage, but not in more flowers than the rates suggested for maintenance. Among parts of the rose plant, buds had the highest density of S. dorsalis, followed by flowers and leaves, which had similar low densities. Larger flowers had more S. dorsalis than small flowers, but population densities were similar. I did take the African tour. Haha I cant believe the guide played along with that, that's pretty funny. Im sure they wait all day to say something like that! The trees your thinking of are Baobab trees and all the info about them are true. At the size they are in Animal Kingdom, they are sometimes up to 1000 years old. They also lose their leaves for much of the year and then for a short period of time make lots of leaves and blooms during the short wet season. The trees could probably survive in Florida (There are some in Fairchild Tropical Garden in Miami which stays green for most of the year since Florida is wet most of the year and then loses it's leaves in the winter when Florida gets very little rain), but they would never get to the size that Disney needs them to be to make it look like Africa so they did some "imagineering" and created the trees with concrete. That whole area was completely flat land before Animal Kingdom, they added truck loads and truck loads of dirt daily for much of the construction time in Animal Kingdom in order to give the landscape enough dynamics to pull off the African look. Okay, I just found the receipt for the Asian Market. This is the one I went to and with lots of fruits. They still have tons of everything now. The rambutan and longan are next to the cashier. If you buy 5lbs or more then the rambutan is $5.99/lb. longan 5 lbs or more $4.99/lb for XL. If you buy less than 5 pounds then it would be one dollar more per pound. June Plum is $4.99/lb. Dragon fruit $3.99/lb. Guava $2.99/lb. Sugar apple $6.99/lb. Jackfruit, I don't know but usually $2.75/lb. They also have star fruit. Saigon Market 1232 E. Colonial Dr., Orlando, Fl. 32803 Phone: 407-898-6899 They have a few markets there on Colonial Drive, but this one have the most fruits. Also, they have restaurants right across the street or on that same street. There are some Asian homemade snacks if you guys what to try some.

The inflatable is not all that great. You get blown around a lot and lose some control, it is wider than a regular canoe or kayak and harder to paddled. It is ok to take with you in the camper to use, but for regular boating I much prefer a regular canoe. It was a nice trip, I always enjoy the Cherry Lake part. The group is smaller and everyone is so relaxed by the time we get there. beverly
