I would think E-Bay or Craigslist. I sell a lot of things on Craigslist.

Where in FL are you? The Silver Queen in Largo buys estate silver but you may not get top dollar. But you might contact them to see what they offer and with that figure in mind go to antique stores that sell those items and see if they will buy the pieces outright for more than you were offered before OR see if they'll let you sell them on consignment.

I don't post often, but lurk frequently. Sorry, but you're dreaming if you think you can get $75 for a used thermometer. If someone were willing to spend that much, they'd buy a new one will a full warranty. It's USED. It doesn't matter how well it works or how well you treated it. It's USED. It has no warranty. You stuck into your foods - and that's enough to put many customers off right there. Again, USED. 10 cents on the dollar is about as much as you can expect. People on ebay or CL or at garage sales aren't looking to pay 75%. As foodonastump said, I'd find someone who'd like to try one and give it to them.

I will also have to give Craigslist a try. If I get half of what I paid for my equipment, I will be ecstatic. The furnace sitting in my garage has never been used, but it has been taking up space for a year. I don't have a lot in it, so I will almost pay to get rid of it.
