We are taking a trip from western Michigan to niagara Falls and then going over to New York. We plan to sight see on our travels back toward Michigan. Anywhere we should make sure we stop at? Thanks, Judy

RE: northeast trip

There is plenty to see and do in Cleveland, which is right on your way. Not sure what your group enjoys, but the Great Lakes Science Center might be enjoyable for kids and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is right next door for the adults. There is also an old ore ship (the Mather, I think) docked right by these two places.

Another impressive area is University Circle. There are a bunch of museums in this area that are excellent, including the Cleveland Art Museum and the Crawford Auto & Aviation museum. Again, it all depends on what you like.

I've pasted a link below to help get you started.
