We are starting to plan a trip with my 71 year old father who always wanted to go to Mexico. We are planning to take him in March. Has any one been to Mexico and how is it for people who are limited (walking long distance & accodamations). The airline states they don't give a senoir discount any more. We are thinking about staying in a condo. How can one get the best rates on a condo and flight along with transfers. Ano info or websites?. Thanks Debbie

RE: Ixtapa Mexico

You might start out with a travel agency for a package. Auto Club, or with a licensed and bonded agency in your area. As much as we use to travel, Mexico is a touchy situation now. With his age, and given any medical problems, it could be a challenage. If he is on oxygen, be very careful, a friend of mine cannot travel there as he cannot get oxygen to fill the tanks. Also you must drink bottled watter, etc. There are also tours that are much safer.
Wish i had better news
