| Hi. My friend and I hope to spend a week in the Catskills, but can't figure out the best place to go. We want peace and quiet, a nice lake or streams for canoeing, trails to hike on. It would be nice to be within an hour's drive of a town with shops and restaurants. We want to stay away from the Borscht Belt! Can you suggest a good location? Thanks.
