We are thinking about going to Boston this summer. We will most likely go in July. I am totally confused as to where to stay. Things we like are beach/pool, shopping, eating, public transportation (we won't be renting a car), we like all the big town action! Thanks in Advance.

| I live in the Boston area and there are lots of great places to stay right in downtown Boston. I would recommend either the Beacon Hill/State House area or by Fanueil Hall. If you want an older, small hotel try either The Lenox or the Parker House. Copley Square is another good area and there is a Marriot there - probably you can get reasonable rates there. Good luck! |
