anything cool to do in Kansas City?

| My best friend's SO has been temporarily relocated to Kansas City and I am planning to go with her one weekend to visit him. I have never been there and she has only been once so far, he's only been out there about month. Anyone have any recommendations for restaurants, attractions, etc. ? |

| I used to live in St. Louis and went to KC several times. There is a wonderful art museum (Nelson Atkins?). Also there is a dinner theatre in Overland Park (or was several yrs. ago). They had very good food - more gourmet type buffet than typical tired carved beef - and the play was wonderfully done. I'm sorry; I can't remember the name of it. |
